What I'm Really Into

About

About Me I’m a trans chick in Denver, early 30’s. I love live music, books about history, culture around the world and many other things you can read about in this blog. I’ve been a nurse for a few years and I’ve worked in a bunch of specialties. I’m a socialist who’s seriously if reluctantly involved in mainstream electoral politics. I’m also a creative, I write poems and songs and I love making hand crafts. I’m working really hard on fashion, especially for raves & I love making clothes that light up. I recently got a DJ deck and in the near future I’m aspiring to release songs and perform them live. I believe in the power of community and of trying your best at the things you care about. I think I’m funny, you’re allowed to disagree (but you’re wrong).

About This Blog One of my goals for 2026 (I don’t do resolutions) is to focus less on what I hate and more on what I love. I have a lot of enthusiasm and fun in my life, and I wanted to have a place where I can write about it. Maybe people would be interested in what I have to say, and if not, it’s useful for me to remember the things I love and why. As I build this blog out I also want to write about things I really love, if you see anything underlined, I’m eventually hoping to do longer, more in-depth writeups about them that will hyperlink to those entries. (They also hyperlink to other things I’m really into right now). Stay tuned!

You’ll notice there’s nowhere on this blog for comments and I don’t have my contact info on here. I think the internet can sometimes be a place where anonymity emboldens people to be prejudiced and cruel, and it’s just a boundary I want to set from the beginning here. If you read my blog and find it at all entertaining/interesting/useful, please know I’m deeply grateful for your time and attention <3

(And if you’re not, nobody is making you stay here. Shoo <3)

(And if you’re on the fence, well, give it a shot and don’t give up. With determination, pluck, and a little thing called timing, you, too can follow a blog <3)

(And if you’re still reading this, what’s wrong with you? <3)
